Our Group Background
The name “Ahmed” was adopted in honor of Nasir Uddin Ahmed, the father of our family. AHMED GROUP has family business interests in the textile and spinning industry, alongside its garment manufacturing activities.
The Group’s spinning and textile interests include four units located within the same campus:
- Israq Spinning Mills Ltd.
- Israq Rotor Spinning Mills Ltd.
- Israq Textile Mills Ltd.
- Israq Cotton Mills Ltd.
Our Leadership
Al-Haj Nasir Uddin Ahmed
Chairman (1952–2021)
Al-Haj Nasir Uddin Ahmed was a respected business leader and freedom fighter who played an important role in the family’s business journey. He passed away on 3 November 2021 and is remembered with deep respect.
He recognized the ready-made garment industry as an important driver of Bangladesh’s economic development. The “Made in Bangladesh” label has gained global recognition and brought pride to the nation.
With extensive experience across various business sectors, particularly the garment trade, he made numerous overseas visits to develop business relationships and strengthen his understanding of the international garment industry.
Fazlul Hoque
Managing Director
Fazlul Hoque is actively involved in Bangladesh’s textile industry and has extensive experience in the textile and garment business. He served as Vice President of the Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMEA) for the 2021–2024 term.
He also works alongside the family in overseeing the group’s garment division.
Shibly Sadik (Sajib)
Director
Shibly Sadik (Sajib) is a Director of Sajib Fashion Wear Ltd. and is involved in the group’s garment manufacturing business.
Message from the Director, Garments Division
Fazlul Hoque is my uncle, and Nasir Uddin Ahmed was my father. We have a group of companies. I look after the garments division, while my uncle looks after the spinning mills.
The garment industry plays a vital role in Bangladesh’s economic growth, employment generation, and international trade. At Sajib Fashion Wear Ltd., we are committed to contributing to this industry through quality, innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable business practices.
As Director of the Garments Division, my vision is to strengthen our manufacturing capabilities, enhance production efficiency, maintain consistent product quality, and ensure timely delivery while meeting the evolving expectations of our valued customers.
